V&fman, I like it. I like to see all sorts together. I stick anything in a pot tall, bushy & short, not always the best way but I love seeing it all come together, don't like things too regimented.

My nast.s are covered in blackfly:( I want to get some seed from them so I've let them go a bit sad.

    cheers

JWK thanks for the opion but i say exactly the same thing, but the opposite way round. I did it because i thought it was too nice to hide in the shed and use it to water the plants with.!! lol

I was one of those that mentioned the wheelie bin. I just thought a wheelie bin is one of those essential things that we have to live with, I meant no offence if you like it:)

We all pay thousands in tax and get a bog standard wheelie bin. Some say it's unfair, but I guess the aim is to try to get us all to chuck less away so less has to go to landfill:)

well thank you. Not arguing but - the amount of tax we pay we should really be provided with boxes for botles etc! but thats going of the point of this thread! lol

I couldn't agree more. It seems that as time goes on the council wants more and more money for less and less work.

Nice garden, I enjoyed and agree with some of the good suggestions from others. Of course, its a matter of personal taste, and what you like is good enough.:) For me, I would lose some of that lawn, and add a gravel garden section. I should mention that I hate lawns and only keep one because my wife wants it, but each year, I find agreed ways of reducing it:D
