I originally planned to have all my Hibiscus and other plants outside at some point - if only for the summer months. However it has been so cold that I have been keeping as many as possible inside. But there is a severe shortage of space.

Also, as I have been getting more involved with tropical plants, I am learning that some plants such as Hibiscus coccinea and Gloriosa rothschildiana and a number of others are unlikely to ever flower outside except in an exceptional summer.

The problem is that many of these plants can grow to six feet or more - so in my book they aren't really houseplants. :dunno:
