Looking to lift the lawn and replace with artificial turf. There are some very good artificial plants on sale now too. No watering, pest control and pruning required next year.

      I jest of course...:rasp:

Yes please Andrews, keep us informed regarding the misting system. Please. No offence meant but, that age old saying. " There's money in muck" Looking at your profile. Wow! that border and driveway. All the best.

          Thanks Mike

Will start a thread when I start working on the misting system.

The house came in part from my former career which was in IT. I was given shares in the company and sold at the right time. I then fell out of love with IT and wanted a better work life balance so moved to work with my wife full time on the waste management business which freed her up to prospect for new customers and gave me my evenings and weekends back which were previously taken up with invoicing, bill payment and suchlike. We are not making millions but have more freedom and are not having to sing the corporate song every day. Having the free time has also meant that I get more enjoyment from the garden

I'll be ordering my plug plants for 2019 this week , to get the discount and free postage offer. They are delivered third week in March for potting on . Seeds are ordered in January , mainly from Ebay and a few from T and M . I need a few ideas for new seeds, plants , so will be avidly reading GC posts for ideas :blue thumb:
Re. compost, I don't use industrial quantities as Shiney and Silu . So I am sticking with Jacks Magic for 2019 . Wickes MPC , no no no not again :snorky:
