wishaw, couldn't see your pics as one didn't come through at all (dreaded red X!) and the other stopped downloading after about one sixth of the photo was present.

However, if you're really stuck with getting your fence repaired/replaced, what's to stop you putting up a new one on the inside of the existing fence? I knwo it means you'd have to sacrifice some of your land but sometimes needs must.....

Quedlinburg - never been there, sorry! Just popped into E. Deutschland from time to time, as friends lived on the W D border, around Steinlah / Goslar. But, to get back to the gardening.... where were we? Greenhouses on a stone base? Do follow the link - there's been lots of discussion about the economics of heating a greenhouse, and keeping the air moving on the link I put in before - worth a look!

nixon, I think we got a bit mixed up here, I never mentioned a greenhouse, that's not on the cards for another couple of years, we currently just need a new shed *wink* (I was a bit confused about the greenhouse link earlier on, however, like the idea of a concrete base for the shed instead of paving slabs in any case!

Oops! must have a "wee drap" too many last night! Yes, it was a shed you were talking about, wasn't it - ignore the comments above!
