Plants as Christmas Pressies.

    They eat them in Hawaii, but you better ask them more precisely about that.
    They are easy to grow and not so prone to parasites and illness. they love water and they are very suitable near ponds (but they have to be taken in, in the winter)

    Gogs I'm having the same idea as you I would far better enjoy a plant as a gift than anything else jewellery doesn't 'catch' my eye any more, in fact that's what I had for my birthday from the boys plants instead of gems.

    I must say that going to the garden centre I'm like a kid in a candy shop I have to stop myself from almost drooling! :D

    This christmas I doing a secret Santa kind of thing where my family slip some money into a card for me of which I have no idea how much is put in and it all goes towards plants for my garden.....just maybe there will be enough for a couple of tree ferns, I do hope that doesn't sound greedy of me but I have been such a good girl! :eek:
