    I can't see why not, but they'd need regular watering and feeding..............they're much happier in the ground, Val.:snork:

            This is Checkers with the blue stamens

            And this is Royal Wedding with the grey stamens
            [​IMG]

            So I reckon that the unknown B&Q bargain Poppy is Royal Wedding or a related off shoot.

                      It is a lovely "Claret" colour and I can see why you like it!! You and Simbad are definitely making me want to take an impulse buy trip to Arley Hall Nurseries where I know I will suffer a blank spot in the day and wonder where I bought all the new plants from:heehee:
