I know is only a genetic leaning towards deafness in a white coated / blue eyed cats i.e. not ALL are deaf but as yours has one blue and one green eye is there any deafness in the blue sided ear?

No she has perfect hearing, except oddly enough when I call her in-then she goes completely deaf LOL.

No seriously she hasn`t shown any signs of it, but apparently even with just one ear working she would have overcompensated a long time ago with the other one. So maybe she is-and she isn`t showing it.

Well I got a couple more pics of her last night, I think she knows she is a star LOL

I have been trying to get a good pic of her coat-she isn`t full black-she is a black with blacker still tabby markings. At night sle looks browner, yet during the day she looks a bit purple at times.

    Just beautiful

Gorgeous cats, Claire. Poppy looks very happy in her new home :luv: I don't know the story of how Poppy came to live with you, so will have to look for your thread if there is one :)

    Hello,

Well, just to keep you all up to date, she was neutered this morning and it all went fine.

The vets charge £40 fo female, and the CPL sent a vouvher for £26 so I only had to pay £14 total..

She is already happy and trying desperately to get out in the garden to be with her Dad who took the day off to be here with her when she got home (the softie-and he claims he doesn`t like cats!Pshaw!!).

Just looking at her now whilst she is looking up at me and aw she is so sweet.
