We here in Cheshire didn't get any frost last night or the night before and we're not forecast to get any tonight. But, there is a chance of clear skies during the week and that with the Arctic air flowing towards us might just give us that frost.:snork:

I remember it well @HarryS but my other half was still employed 5 days a week but like Pete, no pay rise I can think of, but had a friend who worked out at BAC at Filton and he also worked 6 days a week.! ;)

Minus 1.3 deg C in my garden, and will be even lower at my rural edge of village plot.

Lowest was +2.5C overnight - I'd rather we had some rain, garden is very dry and I'm having to water freshly planted and establish plants - so much for April showers!

It was minus 2 deg C in a garden at the edge of the village early this morning. BBC forecast was plus 1 deg C.

The April showers came in June, if I remember rightly, last year.

Baltic here tonight again.Dreadful frost last night which has put paid to most of my flowering shrubs and things like Hostas are looking decidedly sad but will recover. Hoping the cloches I have over my Potatoes is enough as there is signs of shoots above soil level:yikes:
