Possible withdrawal of free TV licence for the over 75's

    I cant see why they cant just make the bbc channels subscription only service made available via Now tv, sky,virgin,bt etc etc.

    It might cost some to get new equipment in but that didnt stop them switching analogue off and forcing digital onto the public years ago did it.

    Why intimidate, threaten, and force people to pay for a service they may not wish to use ?

    Also why should a well off person over 75 get it for free when a person on minimum wage has to pay £150 for it ?
