Sorry I measure in feet (no pun intended !).

It took so long for many reasons, money, time, changing my mind so many times and confidence to do the building work myself.

As this is our first home that we have owned, (I was 22 when we bought it) the garden kind of evolved and grew up with me. I guess we both have some way to go :D

It has been 'finished' before but has taken 8 years to its current look. :D

TBH when you start from scratch 8 years doesn't seem that long, especially to get the required amount of height and spread I wanted.

Thanks, Cutie. There's only one gardener in this household and builders did the house. :D

However, to be fair, t'other half takes the picaxe to the garden if need be for a hole or two (as has brother-in-law, Kedi-Gato's hubby) to plant in the sand garden ... we are predominantly on rock base.

I've always said ... it was blood, sweat and tears and now it's payback time and I enjoy. [IMG]

Impressive, Kev ... what a change you have made. It was quite a wilderness and now neat and structured with just the right amount of overgrownness (is there such a word?). The decking area is nice next to the pond.

    Well done. [IMG]
