    Thats truly awesome Palustris - have you got your eyes on those yellow bits surrounding it now!

    Helofadigger - you have absolutely the right idea of copying good bits from others. That's how the world goes round - nearly all the greatest inventions of history have just been improvements of what someone else had done before.

    The 'yellow bits' are agricultural land and getting planning permission to change to horticultural use is almost impossible. Anyway we are struggling to manage what we have these days. It takes two of us almost full time to keep it even half way decent.
    Sadly we cannot even sell the garden off for housing. Greenbelt, no drainage system and no water except via the Farmer. Also no Broadband and poor telephone line, poor Mobile phone reception, no gas supply. I could go on, but it might make me want to move!

    Palustris I should feel so sorry for you with your lack of broadband but I'm afraid I really can't I'm green with envy with the size of your plot! Want to do a swap? :D
