Freddy I am seriously impressed with your Rhododendron. Mine don't look half as good, how about the lowdown?

Hiya George. Not much to say really. I bought it from B&Q some years ago, for around £15. It languished for a couple of years as I didn't look after it properly, just watering with regular tap water. Since then I've tried to give it what it wants. I've potted it on, using ericaceous compost, watered it with rain water, and given it a feed of sulphate of iron every now and then. Actually, the pic doesn't do it justice, flash and all that. Sure, it only flowers for a relatively short period, but I reckon it's worth the wait.

    Cheers...freddy.

Hi again. Just in case you're interested, I decided to move it. I put it into one of those large buckets that B&Q sell for around £10 and sank it into the ground. The pic still doesn't do it justice, but herewith anyway.....
