    Now would be a good time for us all to put a note in any and all mushroom ID books that we own. Its easy to forget things a couple of years down the line.

    A note I put in mine a few years back is, Avoid all Cortinarius species, many are listed as edible, but research was being undertaken as some were killing people 17 days after ingestion.

    Must google that research in a minute.See what they found out.
