Nor can I when using WIN10/EI, but I can when using Android

EDIT: Crossed with your last post, think the problem has been identified.

    I spoke too soon .

I have tried uploading photos on a couple of threads this morning and it didn't work . I always drag and drop and did the same as usual. When I dragged it to the thread it came up with the usual wording something to the effect of 'drop your picture here' but instead of it uploading it just did nothing.

I'll try rebooting the computer as I have no intention of using anything such as photobucket again (used them for some years) as it takes much too long that way.

Hopefully it will work. I'll try later.

quite frankly, have issues for months. so I give up. If I load a pic on my facebook, from my camera or cell phone, and then download it to my download section in my computer then I can upload it here with no issues, but I don't do that too much. Or I have to send it from my cell to photobucket, then go to photobucket to link it here. but from my camera directly, does not work.
what I decided to do which is less time consuming, is when more things are blooming, I take a walk about video, then I can send that to You tube and put the link down here.

Apart from Sunday's little glitch mine is working perfectly again. Drag and drop (straight from my photo folder on the desktop) and it works quickly :hapydancsmil:

Windows is being a pig this past couple of weeks - both W7 at work, and W10 at home have been playing up with images/icons, and explorer seizing up. I don't necessarily think it is the only issue at play for the problems we are seeing here, but there is clearly something going on with images across different OS and/or browsers

This may be tempting fate but I've had no real issues with Windows 10, it has worked better for me than W7. I am using 'everything' W10, Edge, Bing, Defender etc. May be the lack of problems for me is due to the fact I'm not using anything outside of W10. Just a thought, it could be worth those of you having problems changing your set up to this for a while to see if it makes any difference.

The latest updates to Windows 10 and Firefox have fixed this problem for me.

Glad to hear it Nigel - things do seem to have improved with the recent updates, even if only just that things are running more smoothly again.

Does drag and drop still work for you?

I've had no problem with dragging and dropping - just done it. Except, for the last year or so, it always ends up with less images than I dropped. I then have to check which ones they were and drag and drop the ones that didn't get through. :noidea:
