I have no problem with the copying of selected parts of a post.

The problem which I find with any website, is the use of Photobucket for posting pictures. After a short time they are removed from Photobucket and the posting is useless. It seems to happen more often on this site.

Only the poster can remove them. If they delete the photo off photobucket then all the links become dead.

I get round this by creating different albums for different sites so I don't have to look through pages and pages of photo's to post one.

They do not become dead by any action of photobucket..unless it breaks their rules...I have shot's on there from 5 years ago and they are still current if you follow.:thumb:

I'm getting totally fed-up with my ever growing PB account! I've started using TinyPic. You get the links without the hassle of the album.

I mean I'm getting fed up with having to MAINTAIN the album. I have zillions of screen shots that are on a fairly substantial mod training manual on another site. I was training manager there. Well, now I am no longer on staff there but I have to keep all the screen shots else it will trash the manual.

jjordie has been telling me about TinyPics for ages but I never really bothered until this happened. Now I have made THE CHANGE!

    Jo,

I used to suggest people use Tinypic ....... Up until someone was looking through Tinypic and found pornographic images, obviously nothing to do with me, but I suggested people then use PB because it is much more better controlled than Tinypic in that respect.

When it happened to me the other night I, in a fit of pique, accused my hubby of not paying the broadband and getting us cut off!!!! He was a cheap swine, a good-for-nowt........you name it.

If this is sited in a divorce I would like you all to back me up and say the site was never down.

I know I can count on you.

Otherwise, its a timely reminder I should be in bed anyway so doesn`t really bother me.

PS Thankyou to the staff who work their backsides off keeping it so good.

Nathan - I have been using Tinypic for some time
and yes, I did once see a porno pic but not lately -
perhaps it is better controlled now.

The timed postings on my screen is one hour behind GMT. I have advanced the clock by an hour but then I'm an hour too fast:confused:

The timing on my computer is the same as GC's timing as it is with my clocks since Portugal is the only European country on the same time at the UK. :thumb:

When we go into European SummerTime and European Winter Time my computer automatically changes and notifies me it has done so.

I also have no problems getting logged out after 15 minutes ... I am permanently logged in and when I close GC I'm really still there .... :D .... if you know what I mean. When I want to come back on, I just double click on the GC icon on my Desktop.
