        Sorry I am a bit late to getting to this - somewhat ironically I have had some computer/IT issues.

        Looking at the images you have attached, it looks as though you are trying to start a thread using the controls for a poll.

        To start a conversation thread all you need to do is Click on the 'Post New Thread' button:

        Then, add your thread title (1) (this will form the link that people click to look at your thread), put whatever information you want into the box underneath (2), and then once you are happy click on the 'Create Thread' button (3)

              Thanks every one - I found out what I was doing wrong. I realised I hadn't added anything below the thread title - mainly because there was no box evident! But the Fat Controller's email showed one, so i invented one - thanks - and it worked!

                        We live in NW London and garden in Willesden Green and Dollis Hill. You can find our garden in the Yellow book for last year - we are not open this year as we are re-configuring, but I also keep up an irregular facebook page for our personal garden https://www.facebook.com/gardening4bees as well as the Willesden Green Town Team page which is more general. If you pass through the Jubilee line ever take a look at the gardens on Platform 1 - they are community maintained.
