Had a really bad day today with colitis etc, never mind it gave me chance to watch some TV. Countryfile. I do so enjoy this program, especially when the natural world is the theme. Woee, all those snowdrops. Then came an interesting feature. Farmers attempts at dealing with climate change.
An arable farmer was interviewed. He'd given up ploughing his fields. Stubble burning was once a country theme. No more. Now this young farmer demonstrated that he now simply drills the soil rather than ploughing it. This way, minimal soil disturbance takes place, resulting in less soil borne gases escaping into the atmosphere. Also how the chemical feeds farmers and us gardeners use. Thankfully, Dear Lord' I'm now eighty and marking off the days. Simple question. Can/will mankind ever solve this worldwide problem. I tick my page. That's a NO.

Last night watched the last episode of Call the Midwife, very good.

Last week Eastenders were celebrating 35 years, so did a whole week of a boat trip on the river Thames that went wrong and most of them were in the water, that was good.

Been watching Star Trek Picard on Amazon Prime
It doesn't have different stories each of the episodes.

Just finished watching this on Amazon prime, the story goes all the way through instead of a new one every episode
