Yes if it's on the channel it's usually on iPlayer but they do repeat things on there.

For those of you that have been to our open garden and watched our entertainers I have just heard that Jess is on BBC1 tonight at 19.50 on Big Night of Musicals by the National Lottery. She is a West End performer but has grown up a little since then as we haven't had our open garden since covid.

At one of our days @roders filmed a bit of her performance. She is the leader of the four girls but is not too visible here and has a great voice. She is the one on the left wearing the black top.

I remember her as she was outstanding and destined for stardom ,I think she came to your open garden twice.
I shall get her TV appearance back tomorrow to see if I can recognise her.

I do have a better pic. of her here.

I've just watched a programme on Channel 5 about smart meters, pros and cons.

How the first bloke got his monthly bill down from £650 to £150 a month is a mystery to me, he must have been leaving everything in the house on 24/7 and why he had 3 phase electric wasn't explained, but it did show the advantages and the downside.

Apparently about 10% of them have gone dumb, the older ones.

The cost savings only really come if you are being wasteful, if not apart from making you worry all the time I can't see you will save much.

You can tell it's Winter and it's been wet....I'm watching more tv lately.:roflol:

Just watched this ,I love watching tv from around the world and have got use to subtitles. This is a German series based on true events. It's in the Walter Presents section on Channel 4.

Also watched Platform 7, reviews aren't good but I don't rate reviews much either.:heehee: It was different and helped pass the time on dark Winter evenings.

I dont know how anyone watches things with sub titles, I find I spend so much time reading them that I miss what is going on.
Sometimes they will show a news report or that kind of thing where the sound is bad so they put subtitles under, I still miss the action because I'm reading the subtitles and waiting for the next one to come up.:frown:

Forgot to mention this as it's still playing heavily on my mind but did anyone watch Breathtaking this week.... It must've have caused a lot of serious mental health issues and scarred people for life.:sad:

All we can still say to all these wonderful and selfless people is a humongous :ThankYou:
