    Goodness me how kind.:) Thank you all so much for your good wishes. I'll certainly be passing them on.

    roders and all...My daughter is a non combatant. She is British Intel. In all ,she has had threee tours of duty, Sierra Leone being the first.
    Although civilian,she carries Military rank when on tour. At this time she is Lieutenant Colonel....not bad when her fiancee is only a Sergeant....mind you he is rather 'Special';)

    well done Pal, methinks a wee bit too much info though! your daughter has more tours than me, i managed to miss 2 wars holding up the home front guarding the clyde coast from russian subs

    Nick, please pas on my congrats as well. non combatant or not, she is still a very brave lady. I certainly wouldn`t fancy working in Iraq. I imagine you and her mother are rightly proud, and I hope the weekend goes well for all concerned.:thumb:
