Ellen , Molly is a Cocker Spaniel crossed with a Tasmanian Devil  Nearly 3 months old , we have been walking her for a week .
Another point when you collect Reggie the breeder should give you the injection history . Molly's was like a log book with the injection date and the stickers from the vaccine. The vets do like to use the same vaccine if possible for the second jab. May be worth talking to your vet now.

I don't think he will have had his first vac, but he's booked in to my vets the day after we bring him home so he can be checked over, jabbed and chipped :) the vet didn't seem concerned he won't be coming pre-jabbed :) he's also booked in for his second vacs, as well as his first lot of training courses :) it'll be a busy few weeks for him

i've always regretted not going to puppy classes & even those "puppy parties" & such with our boys when they were younger...especially when i was in my teens with Polo...i know i would have really enjoyed all that :)

you don't have to wait for him to be fully inoculated before you bring him outside, carry him out in your arms so he gets to see & experience as much as possible (with minimal risk cos he's not on the ground where other dogs have been!) you can get quite a few important 'boxes ticked' before he's even gone for his first walk...like traffic, roadworks, ect  you'll give him a head start that way :doggieshmooze:

Oh, yes the Kong. love it. kept my boys amused for a good 20 mins. when they worked hard at getting the biscuts out --that I jamed in. They figured out on their own that letting it bounce jars it lose.
Harry S. your fur baby is sooooo cute.

the food doesn't last very long in the Kongs with Snoop he's perfected throwing it (with surprising force) against the walls so everything in it falls out :doh:we also have to watch he doesn't climb onto the back of the couch cos he knows if he throws the Kong from there its game over (everything flies out on impact ) also given half the chance he'll run to the top of the stairs & chuck it down!:heehee: im considering threading a length of rope through the small hole, knotting it & tying it to the table leg :heehee: then he'll have to sit & work at the Kong like he's supposed to, like Freddy does :pathd:

have you ever put the Kongs in the freezer @redstar ? i keep meaning too but havn't as yet, apparently freezing them makes them much harder for the dogs to empty ;)

How creative/smart of him to figure out to toss it down the steps, wow. Good job Snoop.
Have not tried the freezer. But if you make it harder and he tries the step toss stuff, then a "harder" object is flying down the steps.

oh my goodness Ellen :wub2: isn't he just the picture of gorgeousness:wub2:just look at that absolutely adorable little face:wub2::wub2:

yes i thought of that too, yet another reason to tie it to the kitchen table leg me thinks :heehee: i wouldn't want it bouncing off my head as it hurtles down the stairs! lol :hate-shocked:

the funny thing with Snoop is he convinces you he's actually quite thick in the head :roflol: & then he goes and does something really clever & your like huh?
