It does take time but funnily enough....my two retrievers stopped over night....as soon as they'd had their last injections we went away in the caravan....you can imagine we were armed with all the kit for puppy toilet troubles...we put all the pads down over night..don't forget we were in the caravan...fully expecting a major incident the next morning....but nothing:huh: they were both sat at the caravan door waiting to go out.....and from that day to this they've been as good as gold:doggieshmooze:

        That's on Wednesday!! Oh here's hoping!! ;)
To prevent any accidents, I took him out at midnight, 3am and 7am. I've just got out of bed (10.30! But I am also suffering with a bad cold) so can't do too many of these  it'll all be worth it in the end when his little bladder gets stronger! Or a plug ;)

            Now that is dedication !
I am sure Reggie will become 99% house trained in a little while with just a late night toilet and a 7am one.
Dogs have amazing body clocks. Molly wakes at 06:25 and howls to be let out , same time every day within a couple of minutes.

I'm hoping so :) we avoided accidents this time around, apart from maybe a little wee but I think that may have been done in his sleep ;)

:heehee: they eat a lot as well! My dad's did, she ended up quite round...
He's not eating more than he should, so I'm wondering whether it's something that he's nibbled while he's been out; he likes to put leaves, gravel, stones etc in his mouth & have a good chew before I can get my fingers in and fish it out! I gave him some boiled chicken, which he loved, after fasting him for 12 hours. He was a little better toilet-wise but not perfect. He's back on some new biscuits, I'll see how he goes with them. He's back at the vets regardless on Wednesday for his second vaccination so I'll ask then, just in case :) I know kittens can be the same, so I'm not overly worried :)
