Hello LoL- what beautiful photos - it must have been a wonderful break! A chance to re-charge the batteries - when are you going again! Just having a quick look through as have only just got back online after a few months away.

I've been to many wonderful places but this really was IT.

Susannah, we plan to go back soon as we searched for a Palace and passed it several times having asked directions. It's only 2 1/2 hours from us and special friends here (some may know my garden centre friend Stu and his lady) would like to go back with us to visit the Palace .... BUT I won't be going luxury with a suite (that WAS a special occasion) so maybe we'll be slumming it sort of. :rolleyes:

Pete ... the fish was probably ace but not like today with batter to die for .... there you get it on your plate straight out of the sea ... catch it yourself if you'd like .....:eek:

Anyone who wishes to come to Portugal and NOT Algarve ... I would recommend it 200% ... fly into Lisbon. We plan to do the Pousadas twice a year now and we have already said this is going to be hard to beat or even compare with, both on accommodation (must be their best) and location.
