          Quote....Deep Purple
~~Basket~~Absolutely incredible huge blooms with white and purple with pink streaks,

The flowers of this are huge and look double...not sure that it fits with Harry's simple single flowers.

Hatrry , look up " La Campanella " or " Pink La Campanella " .

Definately not Deltas Sarah or Deep Purple.

Fuchsia are a bit like roses.
There are now so many species and hybrids...over 2,000 and growing.
There are probably several that look similar.

Sorry Silver Surfer ..... there are over 20,000 hybrids and cultivars and 97 different species and their variants.
Most are quite easy to identify to a specialist as there are only around 200 in general cultivation now.

Thanks all for the advice :blue thumb: @KFF spotted La Campanella , it is a very popular variety , available in most GC's . Just found it in my planting record from 2012 , ready for another basket planting in 2019 :dbgrtmb:
