    Armandii,
It's said the short term memory goes first, that's right. I can walk across my kitchen to get something out of a cupboard or drawer and forget what I want by the time I've got there!
Well on my way to the goldfish syndrome, I think. :loll:

Hi Sheal, you're right about short term memory. I often leave the house to go to my garage to get something, and then stand in the garage frustrated and stressed because I've forgotten what I've come for, all in 25 yards:gaagh::scratch:
The other thing is when doing a job and then noting that something else needs doing, storing it away in my mind until the first job is done, and then not being able to remember what the second job was. :wallbang::what:
I'm thinking of attaching a brown paper label, with my name and address on it, to my jacket when I go out .......... but I keep forgetting:heehee:

I had a brilliant anecdote a minute ago, but I've forgotten what it was:)

That's it, I've remembered, and its not as brilliant as I remembered but here goes.

For years I didn't own a tool box. So I kept all my smaller tools in two carrier bags. Over time the carrier bags developed holes, so I put those bags inside other bags and all was well for years. I knew exactly which bag I'd put which tool in. Then one day, realising I was doing more and more DIY, I decided I should have a toolbox. So I made one. Now half my screwdrivers and spanners are just missing. They are about. I find them occassionally when I don't need them and aren't looking for them, but if I need them they simply cease to exist until such time I've already found an improvised way to complete the job at hand, and then gone to make a celebratory cup of tea, only to find the missing tool(s) behind the kettle, or in the cupboard where the bread is stored, or some other totally random location.

What a sad lot we are!
Perhaps we should right on a yellow sticky everytime we come across something to do and leave it in the said place, so we spot it later in our wanderings.
Now where's that blasted pen!:loll:
