I am sure you can find an inflatable SAM launcher on Ebay £0.99 from China

 

I'm off to see if I can buy 1 and I'll need a very large foot pump as well

 

A Victor Meldrew moment, you can buy inflatable rocket launchers, flabbergasted. Can't find out how much they are tho.

To refresh your memories about the plane below......

I unearthed more information about the plane today while talking to the skipper of a boat in the middle of Loch Ness.

It is a Hercules! He revealed the plane is used for geological sonar/radar searches of the lochs
here which explains the low flying. Apparently as many as three have been seen together.

I asked him if he knew anything about the plane and if it had been seen on Loch Ness which prompted his reply. While we were out there - there was another boat towing sonar equipment for search and research, and another person on the loch side flying a large drone over the same area for the same reason.

 

Sheal, is the submarine still being use in Loch Ness to do survey/look of nessie work, as i haul that sub to a dock to see if it that any leaks (after refit) before it went to lock ness

 

No not this time @shiney. I was out there for a loch view of Urquhart Castle and the search equipment was out there studying something else they've found on the loch bed.

How big was the submarine @Jiffy ? The team that was working out there had a small, yellow unmanned sub with them.

 

Biggish,white and two people could sit inside and it weighted about 23 tons
