                :yikes:...........It's a just over 20lbs Mirror Carp, Ziggy.........and it would be very expensive for the table though at around £600 worth. Besides only those from the Eastern European countries usually eat them..especially around Christmas.
                It was a desperate fight to be honest, loli, as I thought I'd lost it several times and also I was using a pole at the time rather than a rod. It knew every snag and underwater branch and went into them......a fight to remember. All fish we catch get treated with reverence and are put back into the water gently. leaving us with aching arms and a happy stupid grin:heehee:

                    A little over 20lbs, "M", and caught on a 6lbs breaking strain line......so I was sweating in fear of losing it.

                    Absolutely, Jenny. All the fish we catch are treated with respect and care and quickly returned to the water.
                    Thanks, Joolz. The strange thing is that neither I or my friend like eating fish!! And as I said earlier big Carp are very expensive.
