Hi Rosebay, please read my post in that particular thread and I think you will understand why I have temporarily locked the thread. To be honest, I don't think you have to defend yourself and that any further replies/posts would only further the clash.

 

I can understand you're being upset, Rosebay, and I will respect your wishes regarding the deleting of the thread.
As, I hope, that most members will be aware Admin is strictly neutral in all matters of controversy and clashes between members and has to be seen so by members. But I do think that members should take the advice that I have offered in the past that before posting any comments in any post they should think, think again, and then think again before expressing an opposing view which could cause offence. Discussions/Arguments can only be won by use of reasonable, intelligent, unemotional points of view.
Strong views and emotions can lead to causing offence, disharmony and the smothering of the right of free speech of another member and even what can be interpreted as a personal attack on an opposing view. A lack of a sense of humour caused by strong views can lead to a disregard of protocols. Admin will in all cases defend the right of members to express a view in any matter but members need to recognise their responsibility not to cause offence or hurt in their posts and views.
