No not any more.. A friend & I joined together & always met for Chelsea & went to Wisley as well many times as they lived nearby.. Sadly my friend died suddenly & it was never the same after that, going on my own or with another friend, so haven't bothered since... :(

 I reckon you should add "used to be" to your poll Zigs... :D

Used to be a member, but decided not to renew a while back. I rarely got around to reading the magazines properly and I seldom used the tickets as OH isn't that keen on things horticultural. The only time his face ever brightened was when I suggested taking a break for tea and cakes. :D

I am a member, as I live just three miles from RHS HarlowCarr. It makes an enormous difference if you live close to a site. I can regularly visit and borrow books from the library without going out of my way.

          Yes I am

Two reasons you get a realy good magazine every month , I have stoped buying any weekly or monthly ones saves me £££

And biggest reason my mum lives 10 mins away from Wisley and so we both get in free and have a lovely afternoon out and a great lunch , so I deffo get my monies worth and my mum loves a day out with her loving son:cry3: and my brother and niece he has a card as well :D so somtimes we go on mass .... the buterfly's in the main greenhouse as well now they are amazing I saw these last year

Plus they do realy great work with lots of diffrent groups and charities and schools I could go on ........

Not bad is it? The last pictures I took there was just before Christmas, I nearly got tossed over the edge in a force seven. The Sound which is our 'Lands End' looking out towards the Calf of Man, a bird sanctuary. :)

Thanks Aesculus. I don't consider myself to be a good photograher, but thanks for the idea. :thumb:

I have voted no, the cost is prohibitive firstly (£70 is quite steep!) and no gardens are close to me at all here in Cumbria. I'm not even a member of the National trust, which I would benefit from here in Cumbria, but again the cost is prohibitive for me.

                  Steve...:)

                      Just ounder a penny an hour..BARGAIN !!

But breakdowns aside..its still £70 to pay out in one go, Anne is disabled and on benefits, I'm her carer so on a carers benefit. In this scenarioe £70 is an enormous ammount of money...however small you make it look by breaking it down to hourlies....and for something we would not wholly benefit from as there is nothing "RHS" here in Cumbria. So we would be just magazine subscribers....

                      Steve
