Big Bird and Kandyfloss, what two lovely posts for me to read and Thank You both. As you may learn from my first posting, I too grew up with steam, then had tremendous pleasure in carrying out Guard Duties behind some World Famous steam loco's since. When the Bramley Line finally get to 'Raise A Wagon Load Of Cash' so as to hold the lease for the line, we Will be looking to run at least one Steam Loco a year along the line for a certain period of time and anybody holding the same free boxes as me, WILL get a 75% discount on their fares, regardless of Steam or Diesel, as long as I am Chairman of the group.

Hello Again Friends, I am Extremely pleased to say I have now returned after a very long spell away and due to my Darling Partner suffering from Cancer. It gives me tremendous pleasure to inform you all, she is now in Remission and so I am able to return to the forum.

Regarding the railway, I am still involved and there has since been a Massive change for the better, to our website during my absence on there at www.bramleyline.org.uk and the same as Wisbech Model Railway Club on www.wmrc.weebly.com and now near 5 years of age.

That's excellent news. You must be so relieved, and I imagine quite mentally exhausted after such a worrying and stressful time. I'm glad your partner is on the mend now.

Thought you might like this pic Mikkel, as you can see from the quality that I am not to good with moving objects.

Thank you so much for this photo Pip. A mate in a neighbouring village to me also sent me 3 photo's his mate took of the same loco's passing through Oxenholme.

We had Tremendous pleasure quite recently, of being lineside to film & photograph some steam specials 'At Speed' as the saying goes.

The Bramley Line Supporters website is frozen, because I can't access it at present, but please see www.bramleyline.org.uk for most up to date news. For the members of the Group who are also on here, the Blog page shows a lower figure than is actually in the appeal fund, but you will learn the actual figure in a Newsletter currently being produced and it is FAR better than currently shown.

Hi Mikkel, a couple of shots of "TORNADO" shortly after hauling the Prince of Wales and The Duchess Of Cornwall into Manchester on Thursday.

Hello Pip, Thank You for sharing those Beautiful photo's with us. I had the chance to see Tornado not so long back, but had to decline due to me being laid-up in place of my Darling Partner, whose cancer IS now sadly returning. It will be another few weeks, before we learn where it is.
