Raining here now

    severn trent are asking people to leave hosepipes on all night overnight to reduce flooding!!!!!!!!!!!
    (well it wouldnt surprise me !!!!!!!!!!!!)

    my daughter lives in a village outside leicester and she said its rained all day and everywhere is flooded she got her car stuck in one road flood..!!

    It stopped at about 5.00 but has just started

    it thundered early hours last night,O/H was peeling me off the ceiling,and the heavens have finally opened a couple of minuites ago! [​IMG]

    still no rain here at present, had my hubby on the phone from off-shore aberdeen and he said the weather is not too good he cant see a foot in front of him and there has been no helicopters out there today.some of the guys that where supposed to be coming back will be dissapointed.

    well stingo i have to match you as its started again here now also..nothing to get over excited about ..just a few drops..anything is better than nothing we may sleep well tonight..

    i had just logged off around 7-45 looked out of the window it is raining here not very heavy, It is very humid would not be suprised iff we get thunder storms

    was raining here slightly when I got up, but then this afternoon, we had a couple of hours of steady rain. Very welcome

    Still no rain. Lovely? and sunny now and just got in from an hour of watering my veggies. Mrs shiney does the greenhouse and pots.

    Can anyone teach me the proper dance because mine is not working?

    its raining here now again not a lot but enough to do the watering for me.. [​IMG] and i can hear the odd rumble of thunder in the distance...at least i slept all night as i could actually breathe..as its cleared the air..
    shiney...i think i do the wrong dance steps also as i havnt had a downpour like some..just enough to lay the dust..

    If they are shiney, they're affecting Cornwall too :D Loads of cloud yesterday but no rain. Slightly damp out there this morning but already cracking the flags. Going to be a scorcher!
