woke up to lovely sun shine, it rained last night most of the evening but not heavy and no thunder. So, it looks like we are going to have another lovely day here on the coast [IMG]

well - its hot and sunny today, but still very wet underfoot. Had to get the scaffolding planks out to get to the greenhouse and washingline this morning after ending up in thick clayey-mud (which is being trodden through the house by mutt and brats!!! ) AGGHHHHH!!!!

No rain up here yet but much cooler and quite airy. Cloud is getting thicker though so possibly something overnight

We had quite a big thunder storm with heavy rain Saturday lunchtime, but nothing since. My daughter (21 months) jumoed a mile and we had to explain that it was the clouds getting hot and angry with each other. I had to take her outside in the rain so that she could tell them off!

The rest of the afternoon she went round telling everyone she saw " Clouds - rah rah rah rah rah" and shaking her fist in th air.

It certainly did not clear the air - the humidity just seems to keep going up and up.

This heat and humidity makes the summer as unusable as if it were raining all the time. Need some stable 20's to get things done without passing out.

Oh TimD.. How cute. I have to admit that Im still a little afraid of thunder and lightening. There is something comforting for me thinking that it is the Greek Gods sorting out there problems. Thats what I was told as a child anyway. ;)

    Not any rain here either.

Nice story, and with any luck your daughter will not find thunder frightening. My parents told us the same - we used to sit on the front door step counting between the ligntening and thunder, to see how far away the storm was. Fantasia helped the illusion too when it was released.
