    Another thing to try.

    Contact your local Airgun shops , they will usually know of someone with an air rifle that will use your Rat as practise.

    A 'marksman' with an air rifle is a lot more humane than poison, I dispose of a few wild Rats at my fathers smallholding, aiming at between the eyes kills them stone dead.

    If I lived nearer, I would offer my services, unfortunately ...... I'm not very near :D

    Hi Kathy, I have rats at many of my work locations and there, am lucky enough to have an extermination company. Moist of the thread above is correct. Glad to see you are baiting under the shed and along fences - covering of course. Its also really good to see that the bait is disappearing. Rats won't take bait when there is another food source, usually rubbish. If I were you I'd re-bait (or at least check, twice a week for a month just to be on the safe side. Also, is there any way you can temprarily block access to under your shed with something like scaffold boards, to stop any new colonisation? The good news is the poison does work and it looks as if yours has now been successful!
