I cant wait to VOTE OUT! .

This is our only chance to stand up for ourselves the British instead of being told what to do and when to do it by various European leaders, Obama, Nato cronies, British army old farts etc etc.

Hi @Super Lucyjin, you got it bang on for last year, but, from this year on they have to qualify.

@miraflores The Eurovision song contest is nothing to do with the EEC so they can't kick us out of it if we vote out.

The Eurovision Song Contest is run by the Eurovision Television Company. It's broadcast around the world, and any country that receives its transmission can apply to take part ( that's why countries such as Israel, Turkey and Azerbaijan take part ).

This year for the first time ever it's actually being transmitted to the USA, so, who knows maybe next year they'll apply to take part.

Just read Dave's booklet on why we should stay in. It's called "Why the Government believes that voting to remain in the European Union is the best decision for the UK" - it should be called "Why half of the Government believes that voting to remain in the European Union is the best decision for the UK."

Or how about 'why 50% of the Government believes campaigning to Remain will give them the best prospects for keeping their jobs or getting promotion'?

I will be voting in but admittedly it's for personal reasons. My partner is living in Europe and I don't want to get to the point where I may have to navigate visa entry (which I won't be able to conditionally meet). That's my biggest plan... to move there with her and it probably depends on being in the EU more than I would like to admit myself. I am fairly pro-European though anyway but like many I'm well aware of the ongoing issues in the EU mechanism.

just a song competition held annually around this time of the year, to which European Countries participate.
I like the concept behind it. What I cannot understand is: 1) why most of the songs are bad quality and the singers are out of tune and 2) why the process of voting lasts for ages (some juries have to vote as well as the public). It could be a fantastic entertainment evening if done right, but as it is now, it is just ridiculous.
