Ready for winter....and broke

    Good points everyone.

    I agree with walnut that it's important to retire when your fit as there is no point otherwise and thankfully I am fairly fit.

    And to work out my finances which I have done and I would be okay.

    So whats stopping me? the summer would be no problem because I'd probably spend hours in the garden but it's the winter. I wouldn't actually mind getting a job say at Tesco or similar just for a few hours per week (just during the winter!)to stop me from going crazy.

    But I do really do need a life plan [​IMG]

    Well then you need to change it - ain't no point in continuing a job you hate.

    When I considered stopping, after working out my finances, my plan was travel in my motorhome, garden/house, genealogy, get involved in my village, and if I became bored with that, then Citizen's Advise Bureau - or even rejoin the Samaritans. I haven't become bored yet, so these last two are still in reserve :D
