Mrs. Trunky did indeed enjoy her surprise Lol.
Before we married, I bought her a diamond engagement ring which she wore for many years. Then, about 2 or 3 years ago, she lost the diamond from the ring and it has since languished in a draw at home.
So, I secretly had it repaired and fitted with a new diamond, and I surprised her with it halfway through our dinner out last night.
Her face was a picture, I was sure she'd notice that it was missing from her draw, but she didn't.
She's always said I'm a bit predictable, but she didn't see that one coming.

oh i have grandchildren just like that lol

 

I have the most wonderful job ever.
I took 5-Yes-five children to a local open farm this afternoon. with my wife we care for two of them and their brother and two sisters are cared for by another foster carer (all 5 are under 13 years old) they had a wonderful time andthe animals were so gentle and fussable. We had the best afternoon for months. must do it again soon

i have a day off and the sun is out so a little time in the garden a quick check on the plot and then a trip down to pembrokeshire to meet with the builder and see mam, will take camera take a few pics and may even get to the coast for a bit,

going to a school play scheme today to support a client i love my Job i get to play all day and get paid for it, going to visit a dear friend on my way home, then going to have a water fight with the grand babies life is good have a good day with what ever you do

reasons to be cheerful?? normally I would say none cos I'm manic depressive but my self help book says look on the bright side, so.............

I have hatched my first chick ever! (not personally, I let my Pekins do it for me ) and it's sooooooooo cute!!

 

i have finished sorting and clearing the garage i am going to take a picture so that when i have lost it again i can remember what it looked like
