I'm happy to-day because of all many things.
They played on of my faviourite songs on Radio2 to-day. If I were a rich man from Fiddler on the Roof
The sun-rise was particulary impressive in a clear pale blue sky this morning.
I managed to wake up earlier (I have been really struggling to get up in the morning)
I sorted out my TV problems yesterday and sorted out Ma's TV problem too. Makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere.
I'm happy because I managed to complete the rest of the food shopping for this hugh Charity Dinner that we are doing on Saturday.
Now, if I manage to meditate before I go to bed, then I will have achieved a good state of feeling calm and happy.
I have started to keep a journal and have been noting how my view of life and state of mind has been changing for the better. I tell myself that I am the only one allowed to choose my feelings.

I woke up with a smile this morning. :thumb:

As the saying goes 'What goes around, comes around.'

I don't think I have ever used that expression but it is certainly relevant today. :thumb:

I said, the other day, that I had helped the old lady ahead of me in the checkout queue who didn't have enough money.

Well, I have just popped out to the supermarket to pick up a few things to cook tonight and the bill came to £5.69. I checked in my pocket for money and I had a £10 note, a £5 note and some small change. When I counted the change it came to 65p so I said to the cashier that I would have to give her the £10 note. She promptly took 4p out of her pocket and placed it in front of me with a big smile. :D :yho:

Be honest. You copied John's 'old biddy' disguise, didn't you?

As Shiney said earlier "what goes around, comes around" so I repaid my neighbour who cut my front hedge a fortnight ago. Today I cut mine and her back hedges, took me about 7 hours and though I say it myself they do look much better for the trim.

I'm happy that we didn't get caught up in the predicted traffic problems in central London last night when we drove up there :thumb:. We had a great time :yho:
