Reasons to be CHEERFUL..... 1 2 3....!!! Whatever is making you HAPPY today..!!

Last 12 hour shift yesterday .......10 days off Just gardening now and hopefully lots of sunshine

 

6 weeks on Monday we fly on holiday for 2 weeks R&R , can't wait I'm not counting the days

 

So happy that the brief heatwave has abated.

(For someone like me, getting on a bit, overweight, with a lung condition and high blood pressure such conditions present further health risks).

 

It's raining Less watering to do today

 

There's lots of things making me happy, heres a few of them....Nora the hen is no longer broody! My garden is looking good! I had new potatoes out of the garden for dinner last night, I have a hedgehog living in my garden, I have an invite to a friends wedding reception (didn't think I was going to get that as we aren't close friends!, but I'm thrilled to bits to be going!), I'm part of this forum

 

Just broke up from work for nearly three weeks

 

Just had a nice encounter. When I put out some large objects for refuse collection, a passer by enquired about the hand driven rotary lawnmower that I was discarding. It worked but was a little on the rusty side. (I now have a lawn meadow which requires scything). Of course I said he could have it.

Fast forward to today - several weeks on. He saw me in my front garden, reminded me of the encounter, said he oiled it up and it is working fine!

 

We have rain , less watering for me this morning

 

Nice thread, and today I'm happy , and I have my reasons

 

.........because I thought it would be an ordeal to forego crisps and chocolate but it was a breeze and I am feeling the benefits of it!
(OK I didn't abstain totally!)
