    Hiya Sheal

Mine have flowers:blue thumb: On deciding whether or not to pot on, I just took the plant out of it's pot and made a judgement based on how much root was present.

I potted on my peppers today. They had some good root growth but are still slow to put on top growth, standing at about 14 inches at the moment.

i'd love to give peppers a bash but not much point really seeing as nobody in the house can eat them, we all get 'orrible migraine's from them

Btw Sheal , it looks like you have yours in the greenhouse, same as me. I'm wondering if the sun might be too strong for them at the moment?:dunno:

Thanks Freddy, mine were looking a bit sad so I gave them some tomato feed and they're looking better for it. It doesn't get that hot here and we nearly always have a breeze, we're about ten degrees behind England at the moment, about 17/18C today. Perhaps you may need some shading.

Last year, my first attempt at growing Sweet Peppers, I recall that they were doing fine until some really hot sunny days, at which point the top growth got scorched and they never really recovered after that. I may well put them outside during the day:blue thumb:

That's probably the best idea, it's a pain walking them in and out though.

              Hiya Sheal

I've had fruits on mine for a while now, but the plants are still stalled:dunno: I'm wondering if they might have done better in a growbag. Maybe they prefer a shallow root run?

              Hi Freddy,

Everything is growing a bit strangely again this year, tomatoes especially. I've not grown peppers before so have nothing to compare them with. I only have two plants and the tallest is about 2 1/2ft and they're in buckets. The plants have seemed healthy enough up until this last few days, there seems to be a slight touch of leaf curl on the top leaves, I don't know whether that's normal or not?

Wow! Loli and Nick yours are way in advance of mine, they're looking good. :dbgrtmb:

This is as far as I've got although the plants are looking healthy. Excuse the picture, too many leaves in the way.

My peppers are developing okay but the plants are absolutely loaded with leaves and the stems are restricting growth of some of the peppers. Would it be okay to remove some please?
