    Hi Woo , its a no from the other site , but they did suggest the;

    Amateur Rose Breeders Association, or the British Rose Breeders Association.

    Have you been in contact with them , also they mentioned "Bee nurseries" not famed for rose breeding !

      Good evening @Spruce my friend many many thanks for trying,its getting to be a bit of an enigma,usually there are signs of a roses existence somewhere along the line when you are searching for it,this ones vanished without trace,I will try and contact the two associations you have kindly suggested and again thank you,enjoy your evening:smile:

          Good evening @Spruce my friend ,yes I have Arthur Bell and some of our friends have Handel they are both outstanding Roses I was just a tad younger I would breed off of them and name the new Rose" Gardeners Corner";)

                I've been watching this thread, I do hope the rose comes to light one way or the other. :)

                If the parent roses of 'Red Rum' are 'Arthur Bell' and 'Handel' then surely it's offspring would be 'Red Rum' again Woo, if you were to breed them? :)

                Would it be worthwhile putting an appeal on Facebook to see if anyone has it?

                      Good evening @Spruce I have been in contact with the ARBA and the BRBA as you so kindly suggested but they couldn't help in our search,I must add that all in all 18 Rose nurseries and the 6 Rose associations were very helpful,the American Rose society were most polite and sent me 4 emails as did a Rose forum in Italy,I'm still waiting for an answer from the Australian Rose association,and from the Southport local paper,but I am still on the case;)

                          The frustrating thing is....there is probably somebody or more than one person in the UK admiring this rose in their own garden and hasn't got a clue that it's being hunted. :doh::)
