Thats so sweet of you, I'll be waiting with bated breath. The "volunteer" for raking my leaves gets paid, $8.00 an hour. And I only have them come on Saturday or Sunday, when I am there to supervise, simply because, they usually don't know plants, and may trodden onto areas they should not. And by the way I work outside the home 45 hours weekly.
And I don't have a housekeeper. So come on over. :D

Yes, we do get some Hummers, not many though, about 4 that I can count. If you want Hummers check out Ramsey Canyon, Arizona end of August, beginning of September, tons of Hummers, 28 species show up. Well next time in the states let me know.
But to be honest, I have some friends who's gardens are far superior than mine. As I work outside of the house hours, the gardens are not as absolute perfect as they could be, and I can't stress myself that they ever will be until I retire. But for now, the correct plants are in proper places and its a matter of maintaining. Well except for the valley area, I am thinking I need about 3 more years there before its right.

Stongylodon, if you get back to the states that area in Arizona is a must, there are so many the noise from their wings is unreal, and then the chirping. I want to go back again someday. We stayed in a bed and breakfast on a ranch, individual little cottages, so cute. Outside our kitchen window hung a feeder, each morning 15 or so hummers flitting around. That area was also beautiful, and suppose to be the birders spot. The owners of the place can also also direct you to other good siting areas. However, sitting on the main porch of the main house was strung 12 feeders, each had 10 hummers on them. For me sitting there with a good cup of coffee was enough.

Two new babies arrived by mail yesterday. Ordered two climbing roses----Zephirine Drouhin.
Had my eyes on these for the past 15 years, knew when I had the place these would be the ones.
Now that we have the pergola in the new "valley garden" each will be positioned in the middle of the sides to climb up and over the roof. They are not in the ground yet but on my deck getting over mailing shock.

Sorry, NO. I truly did not put it up for a guessing game, but if, anyone wants to guess, go for it.
I'll come back later and tell you all what it is. A hint, it smells wonderful, and cannot stay outside in my zone, I bring it in to the garden room for the winter. And I have had it for, maybe 8 years now or is it 10?

But, I will have to check that rose you mentioned, I may add it to the other climbers down by the pergola with the babies I mentioned earlier.
