Wow, was surprised when I saw my thread. Was looking for it yesterday, thought it went away somewhere.
Joaneboyd, what type of pictues are you looking for? right now over here its winter, just had another dusting of snow this morning, so I will not be posting until April at the earlist.

However you can find loads of my garden on You Tube, under Estherredstar. Or you can just google Estherredstar channel. They start way back in April 09 with slides, change to movies a year later. And most of the flowers/shrubs you will see are the same year after year. And we have 60,000 bulbs planted.
My oldest garden is about 22 years old, finally what I want it to be. Youngest is down by the gazabo, still in the planting stages, but I have a heath and heather slope doing nicely.

We have 2 1/2 acres of property to deal with, and its wooded, in the front part there are 22 180 foot tall trees, and we have leaves to deal with on going when they fall.

I will visit your suggested site, never know what after all these years I could find new. Thank you for viewing my thread.

Looking great as always Red. All your Hostas look untouched by slugs, did you say on another thread you don't have any over there?

Yes, John, we have very little as far as the amount of them. Its not something I need to stress over.

My accent is an Ohio accent, almost Mid-West. There are differnces in our accent depending on the state you come from.

How come I've missed this thread until now:scratch::D You've got lots of space and it must have been hard work to clear the area. Love the daffs and other plants.:D

Thanks Ziggy, had car on auto pilot to miss the trees.

Yes, Armand, we do have lots of space, 2 1/2 acres of it to be exact. And as you can see from the trees, the leaves are lots of work. I have offered rib eye steaks on the grill here for assistance, but no takers.

My you tube stock of short films/slides have been in the makeings for several years now. Try to find different views during the seasons as mostly there are the same plants coming up each year. I imagaine, lots more daffs will be on the way, since we have been doing lots of thinning and expanding.
Our last area is down in the vally, it is where the gazebo sits. That area is still in the works, but coming along. And I am revamping my health and heather slope some.

Hi Redstar, well you're doing a fine job with it all. All those leaves will make a lovely compost.!!

One thing I've never "got my head around" is the long handled spade/shovel with no handle on the end to grip, it looks a bit awkward although it's probably not! I think I'll stick to the English version. I am envious of your space and the potential of it all.

Armand, sweetie, after 23 years of leaf raking on piles to the woods, thigh high and about 8 foot by 10 foot I have enough compost to cover England. We have to rotate leaf piles each year, because they don't break down that fast. I am looking for a landscape company with the long vaccum hose that can suck up the whole front yard into their truck and take it away. The leaves from the backyard alone are enough, and side yards.
And everytime before I cut the grass I have to take the wheelbarrel out and around to pick up the twigs, and limbs from the trees, I sometime come away with 6 full wheelbarrels thrown on the burn pile before I can cut grass.
            Yes, the potential is neat.
Not sure what your talking about the spade/shovel thing. Most mine have a handle on it at the end, we do have some longer ones that don't.
I will have to get down to the heath and heather slope, there is a little purple one blooming now, must look lovely with the white snow on it.
