Thank you lillipop. Yes, cats are great, the world wouldn't be the same without these magical creatures.

And this is Fluffy (not creative name). Anyway, Fluffy showed up as a kitten September 07.
He kept hanging around, go figure, all the food. He was adopted by Ol'Man they are buddies.
He's very skiddish, can't touch him. But he can use the cat door and comes inside on often to check things out and to eat inside too.

Now one, more to go after this one.

And our favorite cat had to have major surgery, he could not pee, had crystals in his bladder. It started past Tuesday, picked him up from the Hospital on past Sunday. Now he has to be kept quiet for 2 weeks, have him in a huge dog crate so he can't jump.
Had to actually have bladder surgery, so there are sutures there and his little wee had to be shortened to where the hole is larger, so he is really a girl now. and then of course the outside sutures on his belly. He is on antibiotics twice daily for a few weeks. He is eating well, and drinking well.
Have started him on special diet and changing the other's to a modified one like his. Thank goodness when he is allowed out and about he only eats from his bowl inside and does not eat the outside cats food. Don't ask the cost of all this. But he brings us joy and what is the cost of joy.
If this happened to the outside guys, we would not know, they'd probably go off to the woods and die.
So as of late my hearts been in my stomach most days. And keeping him company in the evenings. I am told the surgeon he had is the best.
    All for a little kitty.

Is it Twitches that has had the op? the poor thing, something like that could go so easily unnoticed.
Lucky for him he has such an observant mum to look after him and care for him so much!!:thmb:
I hope he recovers quickly Red and he will soon be fighting fit again, after all, our pets are our babies. Take care.k-l 02

Thanks 02. That is Teddy that had the OP. Today, he's good, and really tiring of the confinement which he has to endure until at least March 2nd. He is shaved so much on his underside that even after March 2nd I won't let him outside until most is grown back. He is so sweet and needy this morning. I spend a good hour sitting on the floor with him in the morning and night cause he is lonely in there cooped up and all. Instructions are to be calm and quiet. Thank goodness he takes long naps. Sutures come out on Wednesday morning, he is to fast the night before for sedation.

I had a cat called sooty quite a few years ago now and he got hit by a car, broke his femmer and had to have it pinned and plated. 5 days later he was trying to jump up on the furniture!!!s00k it's amazing how quickly they heal.
I'm sure as soon as Teddy has his sutures taken out he will be well on the mend.k-lGet well soon Teddy!! 02

I spend a lot of time in the room the crate is in, and he's out then to roam, stretch and gets lots of kisses, and pets. Presently he is sleeping next to me as I am on a floor cushion. Unfortunately he wants to jump on the desk to get to the window sill, and that is a big NO, NO. He has until March 2. But his belly fir is not even a 5:00 shadow yet, and its cold outside. So even after March 2, he will stay inside. He' s coming along.

He's doing well, got his belly sutures out Wednesday, can't even see a line. Let him run around the house today, he really wanted to get outside. Will totally let him run outside Saturday, and that will be it.
They said keep him quiet and calm for 14 days. Saturday will be day 16. (I am just over protective)
So tomorrow morning he will be so happy and free to run.

Picture of Teddy in the fore ground, you can see his little bear belly still not grown in and if you look really close at his front paws you can see where the fur was shaved for the IV's. He is doing quite well, and back to his old self.
In the background is Twitches. He is a real joy.
The room is a corner of our garden room. All the plants go outside after mothers day. My OH actually build the room, it has nine windows on three sides and attached to our dinning room.
