Reducing height of Cupressus Leylandii Hedge

    Thank you, Verdun. Just going to have a look at the weather forecast, with a view to digging out the hedge cutters at the weekend.

    Silu, love your 'lollipops'! A great way of keeping people off the verges. I don't like leylandii either, but those were the best, quick, option a few years ago. They didn't even do their job properly, as they've stayed patchy for about a foot above the fence. Used to sometimes sit in the garden with a cup of coffee and look up to see the guy out the back staring through the gaps at me...:yikes::mad:
