Replacing a gate post that is concreted in?

    Whats it like when it hits a lump of sandstone?

    Your right I should have bought one years ago, but I tend to do just the odd post now and then, over the years it amounts to quite a few but at the time it dont seem worth it.

    As long as you can grip the stone ie its not too big then its the easyest tool to shift it as it grips the stone in a pincer action like pliers were as when using a spade you often have to get your arm in.

    Yep, I might get one next time.
    These sorts of tools are cheaper these days, if you just want to do the odd job.
