Repotted Oucho into Spent Mushroom Compost

Yesterday

 

Has anyone got a clue what make of Cactus Owcho is? A naughty ginger friend of mine want's to get one

 

My guess would be either Parodia, or Notocactus.
Other than that I dont have a clue.

 

I did an image search, loads of yellow cactus flowers, but not one matching him

 

Had another look, parodia tenuicylindrica is close, but not quite.

 

Just had a quick look.
Didn't realise that Notocactus are now all Parodias.

 

I saw that, they do like changing classifications I'm still calling that orange stuff Montbretia, and it doesn't matter how many scientists agree, the Whale is not a fish, it's an Angiosperm

 

Oucho is still sulking from not getting a prize in the Melplash Show
