Bit of an update but unfortunately no pics yet having computer problems unable to access some sites p/bucket being one of them."Ellie" is doing fine she is so affectionate and loves to play and is so full of energy up to now she has been easy to train and is very keen to learn, she has had a full mot at the vets and we are building her up by a couple of kg's she was as good as gold at the vets having her stitches out after her spaying op. She has been clean in the house and has taken to the lead considering she has never been on one,all in all she has been perfect Iwill post pics as soon as computer is sorted.

Awww she's lovely and it's good to hear she's doing well. My friend has a collie cross and he rounds all the other dogs in our park gang up, keeping them in his safe circle lol. It's so funny to watch

Well done Walut. The thing I remember about my two collies years ago was that they needed exercise 25 hours a day. I love these dogs but they do take up a lot of your time. Maybe when I retire I'll get another to keep me fit :)

Hi Walnut, I'm so pleased everything is going well with Ellie, not that I'm supprised because they are such clever loveable animals. When shes fit and well again, you will have to teach her to run and fetch a ball, they love it. The one I had used to love swimming also. It wont be long before you couldn't remember not having her and will be an important part of your family, as I am sure she already is. Good luck to you.:gnthb: 02

Hi 02,she didn't need any training fetching a ball/rope she has boundless energy and is quite an acrobat about 8 oclock at night she is tired and gets on my knee and falls asleep I put her in her basket about 10pm and there's ner a peep out of her until I wake her when I get up and then I get a real warm welcome.

Just a couple of shots of our "ellie" she's settled into a new routine and adapted very well she's out every morning at 5am chasing a ball in the park back home for another hour of fun and training before toys are put away until 3pm then another walk and play as terrier says she would play 25hrs a day if you let her she is a real live wire, the only problem she has is she's terrified of fireworks and had a bad time over the NewYear hopefully I can desensitise her before next year.

Walnut, Ellie looks one happy bunny, if you will parden the expression. It makes me feel so good to hear that some unwanted pet like Ellie gets a second chance in life because of genuine loving and caring people like yourselves. Well done to everyone who gives a pet a second chance in life.:cl-p::cl-p::cl-p: 02
