      Hi,

What's this Trunky; winding down it being your last week at work; I've been retired 19 years and I'm still winding up with too few hours in a day.

      Good luck.

      Kind regards, Colin.

Husband finally got the "check" for the sale of his company. Now he is training the new doctor to take over for the next 3 months. Me--still have not set a date.

So that's it then. After 42 years working, I'm done.
In that time I've had just four different employers. I've been fortunate to work with many likeable, friendly and (mostly) hardworking people, made new friends and spent countless hours enjoying the great outdoors and everything the great British weather could throw at me.
Time for a change of pace and a chance to do new things, make new friends. I'm looking forward to it. :) :coffee:

                Hi,

Congratulations trunky; you've done your bit for queen & country time now to get really busy and you'll find with each passing year the time just disappears at an alarming rate. I still struggle to get into the workshop due to more pressing jobs needing doing every day; keep extremely busy and live long and happy. :awesome:

                Kind regards, Colin.

TIP: If you get an official looking letter purporting to come from 'the government', containing a lucky code and inviting you to go to a website and enter it together with all your personal + bank account details to claim free money for the rest of your life, BEWARE! It is not a scam, and do not throw it away, despite it sounding too good to be true, yes you have won a pension.

Mrs. Roders retired last week after trying for the last few years , she just couldn’t let it go after working there for 41 years.........no mean feat.
The lads in the workshop gave her this gorgeous Lychens garden seat.
                          What a gift.
It fits our garden perfectly and being solid teak will last forever.
