The latest update from the greenhouse, also a quick look at the raised beds, there's even some fruit bushes and a Rose thrown in for good measure.

Most tomato plants now have fruit, just the British Breakfast lagging behind as they always do. First flowers on the chillies and peppers. New Strawberry plants on second flush of flowers, I will let these ones fruit, then I will let them just bulk up by removing flowers and runners, they get a weekly liquid feed now. The peas are in full swing as are the Sweetpeas and the lettuce are being harvested. Outside peas are just podding, so they will be about right when the indoor ones are finished.

Picked the last of the early peas from in the greenhouse, it is hot in there. I think the idea was a success, the peas outside are just beginning to fatten up the pods, so we had a few weeks of earlier crop.

First tomato a Minibell is almost ready to pick, all the plants have fruit, though some more than others. Now feeding twice a week with liquid sea weed extract.

A house full of vases of Sweetpeas, I have grown them in the greenhouse before, but last time I put them in the wrong place and I had to throw them out prematurely, this season they are going mad and the greenhouse smells delicious.

I know I'm recovering from my last hospital trip, my wife has stopped following me into the greenhouse to catch me if I collapse again lol. Strawberries almost ready for the second flush of fruit on the perpetuals, these Flamenco are huge fruits compared to the Mara des Bois. Tommies are coming along, more Minibell and Black Cherry ripe and the Tigerella almost ready along with Borghese too. Sweetcorn is a new variety(wish I could remember what they are lol), flower spikes appearing. Still loads of sweet peas and just planted some more lettuce plants in between the tommies away from the slugs and snails.

Tomato harvest in full swing, 12 plants this year instead of 22, a much better number for two of us! Some have already gone into the freezer for winter stews/chillies or curries and passata being made as well,
Sweet Corn looks to be around 80-90 percent ok, two don't look like they will come to anything, still picking strawberries and the latest batch o lettuce doing well. One water melon has expired and the other is way too late to produce anything now, though it's still growing. Overnight temperatures still just in double figures and the sweetpeas are still flowering. The Onions from outside are now in the greenhouse and are drying out for keeping, they look really good and the red ones are very tasty.

Thanks John, I think next year I'll aim to make shorter ones, just on individual items, like potting on or simple tasks, again very much aimed at showing folk how I do things rather than trying to be instructional, but hopefully a guide for newer gardeners.
I intend to make my own potting compost next year, so that might be an early one.

The indoor Sweetcorn is now done, but nice surprise but I think some of the outdoor crop might be ready, sure sign of climate change.

All the tomato plants are now finished and lifted, surprising just how long the roots grow. well over 2 feet long in old money. There's strawberries and peppers/chillies in pots still growing, but they won't be long now, temperatures below 10 degrees most nights now.
