Some flower buds on the tommies and peppers, had our first strawberry too, peas flowering well and lettuce coming on nicely, these are all under glass.

Thanks John, a rather hit and miss sort of season, some good some not so good, but we will harvest some stuff I hope. How is your garden doing?

Thanks John, any comments, questions fire away. The sun kept going in and out, so the light is all over the place and the lens focussed on the sweetcorn rather than me, so not expecting a call from the telly companies lol.

That's the season over up here, all tomato plants removed, just growing Strawberries in the Rhino and will over the coming weeks, empty it, wash down the insides and then all small pots with plants in will be plunged into the border soil and covered with fleece until the Spring. Been a mixed season with white fly a real problem, but a very good tomato crop again and the experiments with early season crops under glass a success.

All the glass and metal work washed down with Jayes(other brands are no doubt available) inside and out, a job that always makes me feel optimistic about next season, won't be too long and I will be sowing Onion seeds.

I've just picked a handful of Strawberries, might even get one or two more, Flamenco is the variety.

That's the last of the fruit, there were a few unripe ones left, but with over night frost I have snipped the shoots off and plunged the pots in the greenhouse border soil, covered them with two layers of fleece for the winter.
