rhododendron advice plz

    Freddy, it was so late that mine are all dead, I hope you are very happy! LOL-Only joking, seriously though I used sequestrine this year and I don`t know they might flower again yet. They are pretty fat flower buds not the small just starting kind so I am hoping it will happen.

    Oh no-just looked out the window and it`s arrived-the heavy showers.

    Hi Claire. Might not be a good thing if they DO flower again. I'm thinking, what about flowers for next May ? Are the buds showing any colour ? Cheers...freddy.

    One small branch on one small bush did momentarily re flower a nice strong pale pink, but no others. I was listening to agrdening programme on the radio quite a while back now and on it they said that rhododendrons if happy with their care will flower twice in a year, so they should still flower next spring as well.

    Please can somone tell me if it is ok to deadhead a Rhododendrom...or should you leave them to drop on their own..Cheers
